Who We Are

At Caleb Consulting Group, Inc. we take a team approach in working with clients. This may lead us to involve one or more experts from our trusted network of advisors (with the client's permission). Furthermore, the work performed by our primary consultants listed below could not be accomplished very well without the support of our office staff who enable us to spend more time in working with our clients and allow our operation to run smoothly.

Kevin Tolsma, CFP®
President, Consultant

Kevin obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UC Berkeley. He has been involved in financial services since 1985, and has been securities and insurance registered since 1988. He has completed MBA coursework at Seattle Pacific University and coursework on qualified retirement plans through the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist program of the Wharton School of Business.

Kevin is founder and principal of Caleb Consulting Group, Inc. He has conducted educational seminars since 1989 on a variety of financial topics and has worked with Port of Seattle employees since 1990, with King County employees since 1994 and with Qwest employees since 1995. His clients also include individuals representing an array of companies, non-profit organizations, trusts, and educational institutions.

Casey Ellis
Consultant

Casey obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University in 1976 and went on to graduate school at Oregon State University where he earned his Masters in Forest Economics. He began his career in the securities industry in the early 1980's working for a major Wall Street Firm where he gained exposure to the commodities, equities, options and fixed income securities markets.

Casey has been an independent Registered Principal since 1996 on Mercer Island and joined Caleb Consulting Group, Inc. in 2007. The unique synergies he brings to Caleb Consulting Group benefit the team approach that we utilize at our firm. The depth and breadth of his background has helped his clients capture opportunities, reduce taxes and accomplish their goals utilizing a wide range of assets (including Energy and Real Estate) over the past 26 years.

Administrative/Marketing Assistant

Ben was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, and is currently pursuing a degree in Finance and Information Systems at the University of Washington. He is mainly responsible for assisting in administrative duties, marketing, and customer relations.
